Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!! We have had a great Christmas!! We had Eric & Shay and their girls here and we have had a lot of fun!! I swear, I have got to have the silliest, craziest kids there are on the face of the earth, not to mention the cutest :) (I know, I know, I'm partial, but what can I say??) Aiden got this cute little ride on horse (he is OBSESSED with horses) and he has been so funny to watch with it..... Let's simply put it, a picture is worth 1000 words.....

Yes..... he is milking his horse. :)

And now, he is feeding his horse the milk. :)

What CRAZY, FUNNY Kids!!!!

Last but not least, my little Diva, McKinley, she has everything she could possibly put on, on.

World's Worst Blogger....

I think that I have officially won the title of World's Worst Blogger. It has been so long since I have posted anything. I finally got Halloween pic's off my camera and have them ready to put on here. We had a great Halloween! The Saturday before Halloween our Ward had a Trunk or Treat at the Drive-In Theater. We first had Hamburgers and Hotdogs then they had a children's costume parade and Trunk or Treated and then after they all had way too much candy we watched Journey to the Center of the Earth at the Drive-In. It was a blast!! The weather was nice and not to cold, we laid all the seats down in the Expedition and we all layed on foam pads in the back and watched the movie. We had a great time.

Aiden was supposed to be a horse. He loves horse's. But when it came time to put the costume on he was having nothing to do with it. So instead, he wore the cute little cowboy hat that Grandpa Darwin & Grandma Roxie gave him for his birthday and he was a cowboy instead. You can see his horse costume laying in the back of the Expedition. LOL! He does make a mighty cute cowboy if I do say so myself.

Dallin was my Ninja man this year. He looked awesome!! Dallin has taken Karate and this just fit him perfectly this year. I love this kid, he is so much fun!!

McKinley was the cutest witch ever!!! She looked so darling in her little costume. She is growing up so fast and isn't a little girl anymore. In fact, Buck and I were talking last week and realized we have a "tweener". She is so much fun and is such a good girl and a great big sister.

Here she is with one of her really good friends!!

1st Day of School....

I don't know who is more excited about the first day of school, the kids or me. :) McKinley started 4th grade today and is in Mr. Johnson's classand Dallin is in 1st grade this year and his teacher is Mrs. Christen. I can't believe how big they are getting. Time is just flying by!! They came home from school today, and the first thing out of McKinley's mouth was, "This was the best day of my whole life." They both really like their teachers and are excited for the school year. Here is a picture of the 2 of them, it's proof that they really do like each other. :) They are such good kids and are getting so big. I just love them so much!!

No Bread, Chocolate!!

We were sitting in Church yesterday, and I was trying to get Aiden to fold his arms for the Sacrament Prayer. I asked him to fold his arms and then they would bring us the bread. He kept asking for the bread, and I told him it was coming. When the bread was about 4 rows in front of us, I told him, here comes the bread. And in a rather loud voice, he replied, "No bread, Chocolate!!" He is a boy after my own heart!! :)

Aiden is 2......

Yesterday was Aiden's 2nd Birthday. I cannot believe how fast he is growing up. I wish I could freeze time right now. He is such an amazing little boy. He is so darn cute and so funny!! I am madly in love with my little man!!! It is so awesome to see him growing up, yet at the same time I am a little sad, to see my baby growing up. He is so into tractors and trucks right now, he loves to play in the dirt with his new trucks he got for his birthday. He is talking up a storm, and he is a big helper!! He loves to help his daddy feed and water the cows, and he helps me collect the eggs, even though his favorite part of collecting eggs is throwing them. :) I have to remind him every time, to hold it careful, don't throw it. :) And most of the time he manages to get his egg into the house safely. We had Grandpa and Grandma Peck, and Eric, Shay and their girls come over last night for dinner and cake and ice cream. Here are a couple pictures from his party last night. Happy Birthday little man!!

Tooele County Fair

I just love this time of the year, the heat is nearing an end, the County Fairs start, kids go back to school, all of it signals the coming of fall, which is my all time FAVORITE season of the year. The crisp air, the gorgeous colors of the leaves, snuggling next to a warm fireplace, I just can't think of anything better!! This last weekend was the Tooele County Fair, it is such a fun place to go. It is very small in comparison to many of the other County Fairs, very simple and lots of fun. They had a mechanical bull set up there and both Dallin & McKinley rode it. They did very well for their first time. There were other people standing around watching and they all hollered and cheered for them. I think they even managed to stay on for the "8 second" ride. :)

After the kids rode the bull, we went and looked at some of the animals they had there. Some friends of ours in the ward had pigs there that they were showing and the kids got to sit on them.

After looking at the pigs and the sheep they had there we headed to go look for the cows and chickens of course :), and ended up finding they had a rodeo going on. McKinley & Dallin have been to a rodeo one time before, but they were 3 1/2 and 6 months old, so they didn't remember it. We all had a blast. McKinley informed us that when she grows up she is riding bucking horses and Dallin told us that he is going to ride the bulls. Aiden just loved it all!!! Of course we all know that rodeos go pretty late, and we kept expecting Aiden to crash and burn and fall asleep, but he fought with all his will to stay awake. Every time we asked if he was ready to go night-night, he would look right as us and say "NO". We had a great time and can't wait till next year.

Working on the farm...

We are getting some more dexter cow's in the next few weeks so Buck has been hard at work getting our pasture fenced in for them. Lucky for him, we have 2 fabulous helpers that love to help their daddy. :) I had to photograph a wedding last Tuesday and took McKinley with me so Buck stayed home with the 2 boys and they worked on the fence all day long. They all got into it. :) Dallin is watching over his little brother. They sure love each other alot!! They are best friends!!

Fuzzy butts with feathered legs. :) And then last night, Impatients, our Dexter Cow, had the most adorable baby girl!! She is so cute and so sweet!! You teach your dogs to fetch, we teach our cows to pick their nose...... :)

I was out taking pictures of Hurricane, our Dexter Bull, so that we can try to sell him, and it wasn't until I had downloaded the pictures onto the computer and was looking at them, that I realized that he had his tounge up his nose. I couldn't get this shot again if I tried.

Aiden's 1st Black Eye

The other day, Aiden was playing with his trucks, and ran into the dining room chair, and it gave him his 1st Black eye. Poor little guy!!

He is getting so big. He is finally getting more teeth. His bottom right one finally came in last Wednesday (2/27) and it looks like the left one should be coming through in the next few days. He has been the slowest kid to get his teeth out of all 3 of them. He only has 4 on top and now 3 on bottom and he is 18 months old. I will be so glad when he has all his teeth, he drools as bad as a St. Bernard. Gotta love him though. :)

I just LOVE where we live.....

With views like this, how can you not LOVE it!!!

This is looking out my back door to the west. We have some of the most amazingly beautiful sunsets. I just love living here.

Totally out of topic, but my little Aiden man, told me tonight when going to bed, "Love you mom", in his cute little baby voice. It just melted my heart!! He is growing up way to fast!!

It begins.....

It seems that everyone and their dog has a blog of their own, and after starting one several times, I finally have finished putting our family blog together. So here it begins with my first post.

We are all getting spring fever, and can't wait for the mud to dry up, I will be especially exited when the mud is gone, with 2 kids (Aiden, wishes he was :) ), 2 dogs and a hubby, going in and out the back door a hundred times a day, it is impossible to keep the floors clean. And I have a hard time keeping them clean to start with, lol.

Aiden, loves to stand at the back windows and look out at the animals. I think his most favorite of all of them that we have is the cows. He loves the cows. Whenever he sees them, he will holler out a big "moo". It is so funny. When McKinley and Dallin got home from school today, we put his shoes and coat on and let him go out in the back with them, and he had a hayday!! We had to drag him in kicking and screaming, literally. :)

We got a new member of the family. Dallin got a new bunny for his birthday from Grandpa Jack & Grandma Sherry. He is so dang cute!! Solid black and so soft. His name is Blackjack. He fits right in with the rest of the animals on our little farm. lol.

That puts our total animal count up to 2 cows, our dexters, with one on the way, Hurricane and Patience. Patience is going to have a calf in April or beginning of May, we can't wait for that!! 2 dogs, Molly & Lilly, 3 Pygmy Goats, Millie, Ellie, Lucie, 4 cats, Kitty, Socks, Mittens & Milo, and 12 chickens, 2 roosters and 10 hens, and we are placing an order for about 20 more chickens here in the next few weeks. So with the additions of Blackjack we have a total of 24 animals. WooHoo!!! Anyone want to join us at our funny farm??
